Role: UX/UI Designer & Web Developer
Tools: WordPress, Elementor, Figma, Photoshop
Timeline: 3 weeks
Client: Private Shooting Range in BogĂĄcs, HungaryÂ
ĂlmĂ©nylövĂ©szet BogĂĄcs is a recreational shooting range in Hungary, offering unique shooting experiences to visitors, tourists, and groups. However, the business faced a major challenge: their website was outdated â visually and functionally stuck in the early 2000s â and the booking process relied entirely on phone calls, causing friction for users and missed opportunities for the business.
â Outdated Design: The original website had an old-fashioned layout, non-responsive pages, low-quality visuals, and lacked a coherent brand identity.
â No Online Reservation System: Users could only book by phone, leading to missed bookings, scheduling issues, and poor user experience.
â Poor Mobile Experience: The site was not mobile-friendly â a serious issue since most users discover local attractions through their phones.
â Lack of Clear Information: The services, packages, and pricing were scattered and hard to understand.
â Rebrand the website with a modern, professional design.
â Add an intuitive online reservation system.
â Make the website fully responsive and mobile-optimized.
â Clarify offerings, prices, and service packages.
â Improve SEO and load speed for better reach and user satisfaction.
đUser Interviews: Spoke with the client and past visitors to understand their frustrations and expectations.
đCompetitor Analysis: Reviewed other shooting range websites to benchmark modern features and layout standards.
đBooking System Research: Evaluated options for easy-to-manage online reservations suitable for a small business without a receptionist.
Designing a new experience for ĂlmĂ©nylövĂ©szet BogĂĄcs wasnât just about making the site look modern â it was about creating a seamless, user-centered journey that would reflect the excitement of the shooting range while removing all previous friction points.
